Ascendor relocates

Ascendor has relocated its production site from Niederwaldkirchen to Neufelden. For the leading company in the development and production of cabin lifts, platform lifts, lifting platforms and stair lifts, an expansion of the production area was absolutely necessary due to the constant growth. The production area was increased by 42 percent to a total of 8,000 m². "In recent years, we have recorded a highly gratifying order intake and excellent growth in turnover. In order to continue to meet the requirements as market leader in the future, we decided to expand the production area," says the operational managing director Erwin Roither. "After an evaluation phase of several months, we decided against an addition at the old location in Drautendorf." 

After the sister company Biohort experienced an increase in production space of 50,000 m² with the new plant in St. Martin, the previous production of tool sheds, boxes and plant beds moved from Plant 1 in Neufelden to the newly built Plant 3 in St. Martin. In the halls that have been freed up in Neufelden, retrofittable lift systems from Ascendor are now being manufactured on a production area that has been increased by more than 42 percent. In addition to Ascendor, the office building of the holding company Priglinger Holding is also located on the entire 27,500 m² site in Neufelden.
