Partnership with Paralympic medallist
Ascendor sponsors Florian Brungraber
Ascendor supports Austrian para-triathlete Florian Brungraber in his sporting endeavours. As a two-time Paralympic silver medallist, he embodies excellence, resilience and inclusion. Through this sponsorship, we are not only promoting elite sport but also setting an example for inclusion and barrier-free mobility – values that are deeply rooted in Ascendor’s philosophy.
Ascendor supports charity bike ride
We will be cycling again in 2026 to help
Following the great success of previous years, the charity bike ride is entering its next round: on Saturday, 9 May 2026, people will once again be pedalling together for a good cause in Neußerling.
Ascendor is once again actively supporting this important initiative. For the Mühlviertel-based lift manufacturer, social commitment has always been an integral part of its corporate philosophy. ‘With our lift solutions, we make everyday life easier for people with special challenges. That's why it's only natural for us to support selected social projects,’ explains Managing Director Erwin Roither.
All proceeds from the 2026 Charity Bike Ride will go to the Wiesinger family from Peilstein. The father of two young children died in a tragic accident in November 2025. He is survived by his wife and two children, aged 3 and 4.
With the charity bike ride, the organisers, together with all participants, want to send a strong message of solidarity and offer the family financial support during this difficult time.
INTEGRATIVE SAILING WEEK
MAIN SPONSOR ACTIVELY HELPS OUT
For the third year in a row, Ascendor is the main sponsor of the Mini12 sailing days. Following a taster day on Lake Attersee last year, the inclusive sailing days have now established themselves on Lake Attersee alongside the Traunsee Week. With this contribution, Ascendor supports people with disabilities in practising a unique sport.
CHRISTMAS
ASCENDOR SUPPORTS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES
As a family business, it's that time of year again when we think more about our neighbours. As in previous years, we are therefore supporting social organisations in our region with a Christmas donation. We have donated a total of 2,000 euros to the Tips and Rundschau fundraising campaigns. This will help families in need financially.

Lean Management
Ascendor has developed a multi-year phased plan in which the lean management topics are implemented. The complete switch to lean management ensures minimal waste in all areas. No unnecessary energy is used during production, attention is paid to minimising waste and idle times are minimised.

Synergies with sister company Biohort
In order to operate even more sustainably, there are synergies with the sister company Biohort. For example, the waste wood from Ascendor is used by Biohort in its heating plant. The packaging scraps that would be waste at Biohort are used by Ascendor to pack lifts.
