As a regional employer, social and ecological aspects are particularly important to us. Cycling for a good cause

Sponsoring the charity bike ride

Ascendor supports the annual charity bike ride in Neußerling. This collects donations for people from the region to help in emergency situations. Ascendor Managing Director Erwin Roither also takes part as the leader of a cycling group.

Sustainability

The family-owned company has set up its own task force group for the topic of sustainability. In addition, Ascendor has firmly anchored the topic of sustainability as its own main objective in its annual strategy paper.

Lean Management

Ascendor has developed a multi-year phased plan in which the lean management topics are implemented. The complete switch to lean management ensures minimal waste in all areas. No unnecessary energy is used during production, attention is paid to minimising waste and idle times are minimised.

Synergies with sister company Biohort

In order to operate even more sustainably, there are synergies with the sister company Biohort. For example, the waste wood from Ascendor is used by Biohort in its heating plant. The packaging scraps that would be waste at Biohort are used by Ascendor to pack lifts.

ASCENDOR SUPPORTS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES

As a family business, it's that time of year again when we think more about our neighbours. As in previous years, we are therefore supporting social organisations in our region with a Christmas donation. We have donated a total of 2,000 euros to the Tips and Rundschau fundraising campaigns. This will help families in need financially.

MAIN SPONSOR ACTIVELY HELPS OUT

Ascendor was not only the main sponsor of the integrative sailing days of the "mini 12-integrative sailing club". The owner family Priglinger also lent a hand themselves and looked after the passionate sailors on a voluntary basis.
