If you are still mobile but find climbing stairs difficult, our platform stairlift with a folding seat is a good solution for you. Take a seat on the comfortable seat and travel comfortably between floors.
We also offer lift solutions for wheelchairs and walkers. With our platform stairlift, you can move between floors quickly and effortlessly, while the platform vertical lift helps you overcome smaller elevations. Both stairlift models can be optionally equipped with a folding seat, are easy to operate and offer you and your wheelchair/walker a safe and smooth ride. Simple and slim, it is almost invisible when not in use.
Frequently asked questions about our stairlifts
The required staircase width depends on the lift model. For wall mounting and the smallest platform size (800 × 650 mm), the following guidelines apply:
- PLG7: min. 850 mm
- PLK8: min. 1000 mm (curved guide requires more space)
- PLV9: min. 905 mm
The actual minimum width may vary depending on the project – an on-site inspection is therefore recommended.
There is no general answer to this question – there are countless types and designs of wooden staircases. Some are not strong enough to support the installation of a stairlift. Whether installation is possible must therefore always be checked individually on site. An ideal alternative is our PLV9 vertical lift, which can be placed next to the staircase without interfering with the building structure.
Our PLG7 platform stairlift is ideal for straight staircases and wheelchair users, while a straight seat lift offers comfortable seating. Both versions are reliable, user-friendly and blend discreetly into the living environment. The PLV9 platform vertical lift is ideal for small height differences and can be installed next to the stairs.
Our products run very smoothly and require little maintenance. In the event of a malfunction, a colour display provides information about the possible error and how to rectify it. Should a defect occur nevertheless, your local dealer or our customer service team will be happy to help you quickly. The duration of the repair depends on the specific problem – but we always strive to find a quick solution for you.
