Ascendor will be supporting Austrian para-triathlete and two-time Paralympic silver medallist Florian Brungraber. On 10 April 2026, Ascendor Managing Director Erwin Roither officially signed the sponsorship agreement alongside the two-time Paralympic silver medallist.
During his visit, Brungraber was given an exclusive tour of Ascendor’s lift production facilities. This allowed him to take a look behind the scenes at development and manufacturing and to discuss the technology and innovations behind our lift solutions with our development department.
The athlete is currently in the training and rehabilitation phase following a spinal disc operation and is working intensively on his comeback for the upcoming international competitions. Brungraber’s schedule for the 2026 season includes the following events, amongst others:
- Europe Triathlon Para Championships in Spain
- World Triathlon Para Series Hamburg in Germany
- World Triathlon Para Championships Pontevedra in Spain
Ascendor will not only support Brungraber in his sporting endeavours, but will also collaborate with him on joint marketing activities. Furthermore, Brungraber will be present in person at selected Ascendor events – such as the major international partner conference in October 2026. Through this sponsorship, Ascendor is sending a clear signal in support of inclusion, a commitment to excellence and barrier-free mobility. These are values that play a central role both in elite sport and in Ascendor’s day-to-day work.
