Ascendor Handbike Half Marathon

Ascendor is extending its commitment as main sponsor of the handbike half marathon for another two years. In doing so, the company is sending a strong signal for the sustainable promotion of disabled sports and active inclusion. This means that the handbikers will be competing in the 24th edition of the Linz Marathon for the 7th time under the Ascendor flag.

The Ascendor Handbike Half Marathon will once again kick off the Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon in 2026 and officially open the handbike racing season. This important sporting event in the Austrian handbike scene will take place on 12 April 2026 in Linz and attracts athletes from all over the German-speaking world. The competition combines top athletic performances, inclusion and enthusiasm along the route – and shows how important accessibility is in our society.
