2026 is a very special year for Ascendor: in our 20th year of operation, we are set to exceed the €20 million turnover mark for the first time.
Since its foundation in 2006 by Dr Josef Priglinger, Ascendor has developed from a regional manufacturer into an internationally successful company. Today, we employ over 100 staff, produce more than 1,600 lift systems per year and export around 90 per cent of our products to more than 50 countries.
At the same time, we are expanding our senior management team: Julian Grad MA has been appointed as an authorised signatory with effect from August 2026. Having previously been responsible for sales and marketing, he will in future take on additional responsibilities in strategic development and international market development. “With Julian Grad, we are strengthening our senior management team with an experienced manager who knows our company, our products and our international markets very well,” said Managing Director Erwin Roither, MBA, MSc.
What makes us particularly proud is that our lift solutions are 100 per cent developed and manufactured in the Mühlviertel region. Innovation, quality, inventiveness and, above all, our staff form the basis of our success. Ascendor’s 20th anniversary is a milestone – but, above all, the starting point for the next phase of development.
